You will fly into and out of confined areas — assessing obstacles, managing power margins, and choosing approach and departure paths that keep you safe.
About this lesson
Confined areas combine everything hard about helicopters — power management, obstacle clearance, and decision-making. Your tutor scouts sites with you, coaches your high reconnaissance, and talks you through the approach until you can do it alone.
