No. We welcome real-world instructors and pilots, but the bar is sim expertise — if you can teach someone to fly an FMC-equipped airliner, plan a SimBrief flight, or fly a DCS module, students will pay for that.
A working sim setup, a microphone students can hear clearly, and the ability to share your screen on a video call. That's it. We provide the video call infrastructure.
Payment is authorised when the student joins your call and captured when the lesson ends, based on actual time. Stripe pays out to your bank on a rolling schedule — typically 2–7 days depending on your country.
If the student never joins the call, no payment is taken from them — and you weren't teaching, so no time is lost on your side. We're building cancellation policies that protect tutors who've blocked time.
No. Students only ever see your callsign. Your real name stays internal for payment and identity purposes only.
