Step-by-step: Intercept and track a GPS course

  1. Direct-To KTCY (press Dā†’, spell it, ENT).

    GPS is the active navigation source before you engage a lateral mode.

  2. Engage the autopilot and select NAV mode.

    NAV mode couples the GFC 700 to the active GPS course.

  3. Hold altitude at 4,000 ft with ALT.

    Now the aircraft tracks the course laterally and holds altitude.
