Learn the Garmin G1000 without the sim
The G1000 puts your primary flight display, engine data, moving map and flight management system on two screens driven by softkeys and dual concentric FMS knobs. This free trainer reproduces that workflow so you can build muscle memory for the controls that trip up most new glass-cockpit pilots: changing the CDI navigation source, spelling a waypoint on the FMS knob, going Direct-To, and setting up the GFC 700 autopilot to hold a heading and altitude.
