- Press the Direct-To (D→) key to open the waypoint field.
Direct-To builds an instant course from your present position to any waypoint.
- Spell KTCY with the FMS knobs, then press ENT to activate.
A magenta course line appears to KTCY. This trainer also puts the HSI on GPS for you — the real G1000 does not, so on the aircraft check the CDI softkey has GPS selected.
