- Set the altitude bug to 7,000 ft.
This is the altitude the GFC 700 will capture and hold.
- Engage the autopilot and select FLC to start the climb.
FLC climbs at an airspeed reference and levels at the selected altitude.
- Let it climb — confirm the autopilot captures 7,000 ft (ALT).
ALT capture is automatic once you are within range of the selected altitude.
