Airbus A320 Type Rating Knowledge

An A320 systems course built from the aeroplane’s own operating manual. One system at a time, to the depth a type rating oral would go.

Each module is a short interactive lesson: most checks are answered on the system schematics, from hydraulics and electrics to bleed and pressurisation. Each module also has a reference page you can read any time.

  Aircraft general

  The flight deck’s lights-out philosophy, every door and exit on the fuselage, the secured cockpit door, cargo doors on yellow hydraulics, water and waste - and the general limitations.

1 of 25 modules released, with a new one every two weeks. Next: Module 2, Electrical, on 19 November 2026. The certificate opens once all 25 are out.

Type Rating Knowledge is study material for flight simulation. It is not part of a real A320 type rating, and nothing here counts towards any licence, rating or loggable flight time.
